Jewelry Sale A Success

Marie Gilvey held a jewelry sale in front of her house along with a neighbor who was running a yard sale on Saturday, May 15, 2010. "People just walked over like it was part of the yard sale. One man went home to get money to purchase one of my bead necklace/earring sets for his wife—it was so cute. A few people were suprised that handmade jewelry was still being made" Marie said.
On display were many of her new bead jewelry pieces including a few necklaces made with sea glass she found on the island of Corsica France. Marie Gilvey is planning on doing another bead jewelry sale like this one in tandom with her neighbor's yard sale in June (maybe sooner).
